Ingredients

Instructions

  • Mix the aloe gel, MSM powder and allantoin powder in a small bowl or jar.
  • Allow the MSM crystals and allantoin powder to dissolve for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Use the mask immediately and refrigerate any leftover aloe vera gel.

Notes

The MSM and allantoin may not completely dissolve. You may even notice some small flakes on your face, but that won’t affect the results of the mask.
Fresh aloe vera gel has a short shelf life. Since this recipe does not contain a preservative, it must be stored in the refrigerator to prevent microbial growth. It's best used right away, but can be stored for 7-10 days in the refrigerator.
If using store bought aloe, refrigerate it after opening and follow the shelf life guidelines or best before date on the product's bottle.
Do not use this face mask if you are allergic to aloe products. If irritation occurs, wash it off immediately.
