YOUR GUIDE
What is Rosemary Water?
Rosemary water is a hair growth tonic made by steeping water and rosemary leaves. This creates a fragrant hair tea infused with rosemary’s potent benefits for hair growth and scalp health.
Use rosemary tea to make a growth-stimulating hair rinse, scalp spray, and other hair growth recipes. Let's make it!
To make rosemary water for hair, you'll need distilled water and a large amount of fresh or dried rosemary. See article for recipe measurements.

2
Combine rosemary leaves and water in a saucepan. If using fresh rosemary, be sure to wash it first.
3
Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, allowing the rosemary leaves to steep and release their hair growth benefits.
ADVICE
It's a myth that you need to boil rosemary water for hours! You’ll know it’s ready when the leaves look “cooked” and sink to the bottom of the pot, and when the water is dark brown.
4
Once your rosemary water is steeped to your desired strength, allow it to cool to room temperature.
5
Once it cools down, strain out the rosemary leaves from the tea.
6
Transfer the rosemary hair tea to your desired container, such as a glass pour bottle or spray bottle.
Your rosemary water is ready to use!
